How to Enjoy It

Our ice creams are all natural and do not containing any dextrose, corn syrup, preservatives or other nasties. 

Best way to enjoy our ice creams:

  • Leave it out of the freezer 5-10 mins prior to scooping
  • Some may taste small bits which would be part of dates or chia seeds, the fibre in our ice cream, so all goodness!
  • Expiry is 3 months from date of production as stamped on the lid and best consumed 2 weeks upon opening for optimum texture
  • Melts quickly so please eat immediately after scooping

This was the birth of Singapore’s first ever original Superfood ice creams

Australian-born founder, Mia Kusen, has called Singapore her home for the last decade. She has spent most of her professional career working in finance for MNC’s as a Chartered Accountant. Passionate about food and cooking, she decided to venture on a completely different journey after struggling with the challenges associated with balancing family life and a corporate job. Owning an ice cream shop has always been her dream and with support of her family and friends she was able to establish Mrs. Plump’s.

How it All Began

The idea of superfood ice creams came as a complete accident when Mrs. Plump’s twin boys, Matthew and Bennett, were infected with Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease. The then toddlers were unable to eat anything but ice cream for an entire week due to mouth ulcers. Mrs. Plump found it hard to find any nutritious ice cream on the market and decided to create her own. Chocolate Kale was her first creation whereby dates were used to replace sugar and added ground up dehydrated kale to ensure her boys got their daily dose of greens. After friends and family tried the ice cream, they started ordering and the rest is history.
